Abstract

Scientific literacy is part of the National Literacy Movement (GLN) launched by the government which encourages people to be able to think scientifically, especially in the Early Childhood Education (PAUD) environment. The ability to think scientifically that is instilled at an early age aims to produce a generation that is qualified and able to compete globally, so teachers are needed who have special abilities in scientific thinking. The aim of this activity is to train teachers regarding scientific literacy knowledge, knowledge of scientific thinking concepts, levels of scientific thinking, and implementation of scientific literacy in order to improve scientific thinking skills for Early Childhood Children (AUD). Activities are carried out by holding scientific literacy training through delivering material and giving assignments. The training was attended by 53 teachers in Purwakarta Regency. Based on the results of the activity, it was found that all participants in scientific literacy training activities were very enthusiastic, enthusiastic and had high motivation in training, 80% of participants had an increase in science planning seen from the science materials, methods and media used in science activities, as well as the quality of planning in the RPPH form is in the quite good category.
