Abstract

The aim of this study is to get an overview and simultaneously analyze the work ethic of teachers and education personnel in improving student intelligence in SDN Lamarantarung III Cantigi Indramayu District.

The research in this thesis, carried out using a qualitative method that puts the researcher as tile and main instrument of research. The study was conducted by observation, interview and interviews with all the elements associated with the object of research studies in SDN Lamarantarung III Cantigi Indramayu District.

Based on research methods in question, the results are as follows: (1) The educators (teachers) in SDN Lamarantarung III has acted and worked in accordance with religious norms, legal, social, and national culture, showing personal example, showing a mature person, work ethic, high level of responsibility, a sense of pride in being an educator (teacher) and uphold the code of ethics of the teaching profession. This shows that the work ethic of educators in SDN Lamarantarung III has been as expected. (2) The education personnel in SDN Lamarantarung III consistently and consequently carry out various tasks an function as set forth in the laws relating to education personnel such as: administration student, personnel, finance, infrastructure, administration, public relations and schools as well as with the administration of the curriculum. (3) In connection with the intelligence of the students at SDN Lamarantarung III, in this study focused on students' interpersonal intelligence observed in good behavior during the learning activities as well as during intermission. Interpersonal intelligence learners in SDN Lamarantarung III has been as expected. This is evident from their ability in terms of: (a) understand and communicate effectively both in the form of verbal or non-verbal; (B) able to actively interact with peers and teachers; (C) are able to influence the opinions and actions of peers as well as to mediate in the conflict; (D) have the skills to work in a group; (E) recognize and use a variety of ways to connect (f) sensitive to the feelings, motivation and mental state of a person; (G) establish and maintain a relationship; and (h) tend to be active to know the latest things. (4) The work ethic of teachers and in SDN Lamarantarung III in enhancing the intelligence of students in the high category. It is known from the totality of the teachers and the work regardless of the status of the work that he shook. The work ethic is the basis for improving the ability of a person working in the works
